We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Construction Contracts Manager,

to join our client’s team in Brackenfell, Cape Town. In this dynamic role, you will oversee the

coordination of key operational areas, including scheduling, resources, and personnel, to

ensure smooth and efficient project workflows.

As the central point of contact, you will ensure clear communication and alignment across all

teams, effectively solving problems to minimize delays and keep projects on track. From

planning through to execution and final handover, you will manage every aspect of the

project, ensuring timely completion and high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Execution

  • Create project schedules and timelines per site
  • Manage and allocate resources on each project
  • Weekly monitoring and adjustment of project to ensure timeous completion as per
  • Project agreement Management of materials

Effective communication to Site Agents and Head Office

Risk Management

  • Identify potential risks
  • Assess impact of risks
  • Implement contingency plans developed to mitigate risks Ensure that all health and safety requirements are adhere to
  • External Stakeholder Management
  • Identify stakeholders and their needs and address any concerns in a timeous manner
  • Establish and maintain a positive relationship with all external stakeholders
  • Provide regular feedback to all parties concerned in each project

Team Management

  • Foster positive team culture and environment
  • Attend to any questions or uncertainties from Site Managers or staff
  • Manage and check attendance registers

Project Management

  • Ensure that the project is delivered at the highest standard of quality.
  • Address quality issues that arise during implementation to ensure standard is maintained.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Electrical Construction of which 5 years in a

Managerial role

  • Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act
  • Knowledge of Electrical Construction Procedures
