- Optimal set-up programming and adjustment of defect sorting technology and analysis of data to maximize output according to quality specifications for several varieties of fruit.
- Ensure quality systems meet the required standards and specifications for optimum fruit sorting and grading.
- Monitoring of accuracy of sorter output to maximize grower returns.
- Ensure that defect sorting technology functions correctly according to guidelines. Sizer software maintenance with technical engagement from manufacturers.
- The successful candidate must be willing to perform after-hours duties.
Preferred requirements:
- A tertiary qualification in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering and/or Production Quality Management will be advantageous.
- Practical 3 years of relevant experience in a similar environment.
- Strong technical background.
