  • 2019 will be the 21st time the 99er Cycle Tour is taking place.
  • Exciting news

o   The early entry fee on the 102km route has been lowered to that of 2017 and the entry fee for 57km and late entries is the same as 2018! Our way to say thank you for your support!

o   The famous climb of Odendaal hill at the finish has been drastically shortened!

  • Enter by 28 January 2019 and stand the chance of winning a

o   A 99er merchandise hamper

  • The will be special schools category team event in the 57km race! Prizes will be awarded for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd placed school team. Teams will consist of 4 riders. There will also be a special prize for the school with the most entries.
  • On-line seeded entries for 102km and 57km close at 23h59 on 4 February 2019.
  • Late entries for 102km and 57km at registration.
  • 102km road race is an Official Premier Seeding Event for the 2020 Cape Town Cycle Tour.
  • Great training ride to get your legs ready for Suikerbossie and is a highlight on the cycling calendar.
  • A survey after the 2018 race showed very high satisfaction with the race and in the words of riders

  • The 102km road race is third largest cycle race in Western Cape.

  • Food stalls will be available at the venue.
  • On race day there will be excellent medical services. Physiotherapy services will be available at all medical/first aid points and there will ample water points and toilet facilities along all routes.
  • There will be great prizes up for grabs in the popular lucky draw!
  • El Shaddai Christian School organises and host the event. There are over 350 volunteers in the form of parents, staff, pupils and past pupils/past parents involved on race day.
